NHibernate as ORM in Module Development

Hi, I am wondering if NHibernate or Fluent NHibernate can be used in DNN module development instead of DNN's DAL+. Has anyone ever created a DNN module using NHibernate technology? I am struggling to find anything about that on the Web. The only issue I personally see with NHibernate in DNN development is specifying correct names for DNN tables inside hbm.xml file. Since DNN tables can have prefixes, I don't see how I can dynamically add prefixes for all table names inside hbm.xml file(s). Please let me know if it is possible to utilize NHibernate technology for DNN module development. Thanks, Ilia

I'm sure that it is possible to useNHibernate with DotNetNuke. Both are, after all, "just" .NET applications. The question is, would you want to do this? I googled around and saw enough pages to know that there are people out there trying/using it with DotNetNuke. There are also some other DALs available as well. I think that this question also needs asking over on the DotNetNuke forums where many of the developers hang out. I'm sure that there are other who have some opinions about this.
