Here is a rambling shout-out to the forum module developer(s):

ACCEPT THAT PEOPLE ARE USING FORUMS AS KNOWLEDGEBASES, And design one that functions as both a forum and a knowledgebase!

I, for one, am frustrated by all the bulletin boards on the web that dont have tags. Of course, that isnt just this one, but almost every one on the web.  Its time for somebody to move beyond the idea of burying all the knowledge in forums so that only a lucky search will ever find it.

At the very least, they could add tags to a bulletin board, and create an interface that forces you to tag your entry.  

For a few months, I was thinking this was just my idea, but then I did a search and discovered that there is a popular mod for the PHPBB forum that does this:

Just kidding. Its fantastic! Im waiting to see that here, and I am very strongly considering getting his product as soon as that version comes out.

It sounded like they were close to releasing the module, but still no ETA...even asked if this year or next and nada...no replies to email, no moderated posts hitting the forums, no responses in the DNN forums.  Perhaps they are all busy with the push, but I am not convinced....a simple "no, not in the next 60-days" would have been nice.

Perhaps Lee can do the super secret handshake with Will and get some clues, as I am ready to buy the module now, but hate to buy 3.7 with a 30-day upgrade option and have AF 3.8 release on the 32nd day of ownership.
