Hi all,


I am working on Dnn6 in that version when i update content then the content cannot update at first time. it will be update at second time.I change the HTML editor but problem is not solved.

The same problem at every updation or links(Host,Admin button and also in Update button in Host/Admin sitesetting).I also change control panel(Iconbar to Ribbonbar) but no used. the Event viewer doesn't shows any error message.


What to do to resolve this problem?
Please guide me.

Is there anything related to this in the Event Log?

Sorry for that.actually some restriction for me so that cannot provide you details of the site. Can the issue solved when I upgrade site from DNN6.2.1 to 6.2.6 or any other solution?

Same Update issue in whole site i.e Host/Admin setting also.But i press second time it works. No javascript issue, No Event Log Entries.


Please Guide me how to solve this issue?

If you have access to SQL Server Profiler, you could use that to see what communication occurs between the web site and the database when you click a link.

Also, are the links that don't work HTML links, or are they javascript? That might be a clue.

The site is working fine at my local Server and also works at my production server , But the same Problem comes only at Live server.

I would start by comparing the local and live servers. Obviously something is different. The difficult thing is determining what the difference is.

Start with operating system, version, SQL Server version, etc. Also, look at IIS and the file system permissions.

I Will check All the setting. But one thing is missing that the "application pool also get down" with the same site. you get any other solution with given clue.

Thanks for co-operates me from long period of time. My Problem get Solved.When i change Host>>Host setting>>Persistence>> "Page" . and also add the latest CKEditor.

That makes sense. The warning for the Page State Persistence setting is "Warning: Memory page state persistence can cause Ajax issues." That is exactly what you were seeing.

Also, upgrading means that the old FCK editor won't work. Installing the CKEditor is one solution. Another is to go to the HTML EditorManager page ans selecting the DNN Rad Editor.
