Hi, I have looked in the Desktop Modules/Feedback folders but no css for the feedback module. This is obviously the wrong place so where do I look for the css to style the module?

You didn't say which version of the Feedback module you are using. I just looked at the "Install" package for Version 06.00.00. There is definitely a module.css file there.
As for styling the module, if you modify module.css that will change the module style for any instance of the module. If you have a single portal, that's not a problem. As a matter of convention, it's probably better to add styles for the portal to portal.css.

Hi Joseph, How are you. Thank you for your response, I have looked again and found the module.css. I was looking for a feedback.css so didn't see it.
Kind regards, Pamela.

PS. I will have more instances of the feedback form and I know where the portal.css is so I guess I just add different classes to the form tags and style those in the portal.css?

If youx look at the page source, youmcan identify the unique IDs applied to each module. You can target the CSS to a module without having to add your own identifiers.

Hi Joseph, As usual, I thought this would be simple. But no, of course it isn't. It would be really good if you could have a tutorial on how to style and change this module. Firstly, I wanted to do the simplest thing, change "Send Feedback" to "Submit". In Feedback.ascx
<asp:linkbutton id="cmdSend" resourcekey="cmdSend" runat="server" cssclass="CommandButton">SUBMIT
I have changed the wording, but nothing happens.
I cannot see in the .ascx file where any of the other wording on the module is written. Where is "Your Contact Information" and "Your Feedback" written? It is extremely frustrating when all I want to do is get on with the job but am frustrated at every turn! I have looked in the file FeedbackLists.ascx and nothing is in there. So what do I do? This is before I even get to try to change the size of the fonts etc. It should be very simple for me to change a form, not like this.
Kind regards, Pamela

Pamela,
In DotNetNuke ALL of the text is "localized" in Resource Files that can be edited with the Language Editor. You can change the text easily for a portal or for the entire installation by editing those files with the tools provide under Admin, Languages. The Feedback module has its own resource files.
If you want to tailor the text for individual instances of a module, that is not supported by the DotNetNuke framework. You could, though, do it using jQuery or javascript tied to a module instance.
