So I am working on a web app for a client of mine and he has a rather different request, which is he only wants his employees to be able to access the internals of the website during specific hours and days. Now If i were doing this in regular old ASP. Net I can see how to add that to the login info and just check it when logging in and invalidate them if they arent accessing at the right time. Could anyone familiar with DNN point me in the direction of how to do this in DNN?

Two approaches:

1. Add some javascript or jQuery to every page. If the user is "authenticaed" (logged in) check the time and log them off if the time matches the hours they shouldn't be on the site.

2. Take the source for the default authentication module. Modify the code so that it won't even log them in if the time is wrong. Joe Brinkman has a blog entry on the DotNetNuke website that shows how to grab the authentication module and it's code, modify it to create a custom authentication module, and then add that to the site to replace the default.
