I have 2 questions which appear below.

I have two databases and need a form generator to access either a SQl or MySQL database. I've been looking at DotNetMushroom RAD and have down loaded the trial version for testing, however whilst i can connect to a SQL DB, I cant connect to a MySQL Database, the connection string is reporting back as invalid. I have tried multiple sting combinations and even refered to the connection string web site but nothing connects, does anyone know if the RAD application can connection to a MySQL database and if so and provide an example connection. If the application cant handle a MySQl databases does anybody know of a module to handle both that easily creates forms for data entry and retieval. I have also raised this with their support site but they seem reluctant to reply.

My second question relates to the wiki module, i have download this and tested it and its very basic i cant even create a topic folder structure. I have done research and probably need some like Screwturn wiki but that does not work i believe in DNN, can anyone sugget and alterntive to the Wiki DNN module.

I don't know the answer to the question for RAD. But, after a bit of Googline:

"For MySQL you should use odbc provider. Connection string should be something like this:
DRIVER={MySQL ODBC 3.51 Driver};SERVER=server address ;DATABASE=database name;UID=username;PASSWORD=password;Port=port;OPTION=3

(my sql odbc driver should be installed within server environment)"


For testing the DotNetNuke Reports module should be able to connect to mySQL: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources...O-Net.aspx


As for the wiki, there is at least one commercial module available on Snowcovered.
