I've been testing the Feedback module (v05.00.02) the past few days and noticed something odd.....

> My Time Zone is UTC -8:00.
> My DNN server has the correct Date & Time.
> My DNN site has the correct Time Zone.
> My Portal Time Zone is correct.

When I post a Feedback item, the Date/Time displayed in the Comments section of the module is 8 hours ahead of my time zone. i.e.

> Text/HTML
> Time Zone Offset in minutes: -480
> Current Date & Time: 5/27/2011 5:31 PM

> Feedback Comments
> Administrator Account 5/28/2011 1:31 AM
> New test item
> 27/05/2011 @ 5:30PM

Anyone else observed this? Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

There are three times or time zones that are important:

1. The server's time -- it needs to be correct. This is set on the server.
2. The Site's time zone -- this is the time that will be displayed to users who are not logged in. This is set in Site Settings.
3. The User's time zone -- logged in users will see times displayed in their own time zones. This is set in the user's profile.

I just looked at my test site and all seems to be ok with the Feedback Module, so please check all three time settings. (My test site is 5.6.2)

Thanks for such a speedy response.

I had the first two right but not the third! That would never have come to mind being such a novice in the DNN world. Anyway, I checked the User Profiles and now all looks correct.
