Hi I have a billingual site english / french (canadian). I need the column headings for the user defined columns to appear in French when the user preference is French (Canadian). How can I change the values of the column titles based on lanugage preference? Thank you in advance for your help

Because the column headings are created from the field names in the database, I'm not sure that is even possible with the Form & List module. I'd recommend that you ask the question on the Form & List forum at DotNetNuke.com.

One approach would be to use javascript or jQuery to change the text. You can determine the language from the querystring and make the edits accordingly.

You can add Javascript and jQuery code in the header or footer settings of a module.

If you want to place your code in a special place on the page, I recommend the WillStrohl.Injection module that you'll find at http://wnsinj.codeplex.com/.

I've been following tweets from Armand Datema (http://www.2DNN.com) who is doing some AMAZING things with both the Form & List and Reports modules. He's doing this for a presentation that he is doing June at a European DotNetNuke meeting.

Hopefully when that is done there will be some slide decks and demo sites available for us to look at and, hopefully, learn from.
