I posted this on the DNN website and after a month I haven't gotten any answers. Does anyone know what causes the blog calendar to be a day or two off. For example if I do a blog on January 22nd, I will also get a link for the 22nd on the mini archive calendar ...... ..... but when I click on the 22, it won't display the blog post for the 22nd. I end up having to click on the 23rd or the 24th to get the blog post from the 22nd to show up. I hope I explained it good, but I have had this issue on all my DotNetNuke sites and have never known how to fix it or what the issue is. Thanks,

Which version of the blog module are you using?

I just installed the newest version. The funny thing though is , I have had this problem on every DNN blog I have ever used. (to include many different versions) I have usually, since the blogs have been my personal ones, not worried about it enough to ask, but I am starting to use the DotNetNuke blog much more now that they have categories and have improved a bunch, so I want to get this figured out. Thanks a bunch for your answer. I also posted on the DNN Forums, but haven't gotten an answer there.

I just installed the current version of the Blog module on a test site, created a blog, and created an entry. It shows up with the correct date and time and also is shown correctly on the calendar (archive) module.
I would recommend that you double check ALL of the time settings. There is a time setting for the blog, there is one for you as a user, and there is one for the portal. See if this works correctly if you have all three set to the same time zone. Then you can play games with what a user in a different time zone sees. Also, compare for logged in versus logged out users.

Did you ever solve this problem?
I'm seeing this same thing. The calendar shows that there is a blog entry on that date, but when I pick it it doesn't show the blog on that date. I have to go to the next day in order to see it. I looked in the database and all of the dates are wrong, they are off by 1. However, I just tried to add a new blog and this one shows up, so I wonder if this issue is dependent on the actually time that event was posted. I haven't changed any time settings. I have verified that the portal, user, and blog module all show the same time zone (+6 central time).

There's GOT to be a time zone problem somewhere. That or a computer that is off one hour.

You can always look at the database and examine the time stamps of the blog entries to verify that they are what you think they are. THen, it really is a matter of translating time zones.
In the event that you do find a time stamp error, you can fix it. But I'd have no idea where the error originated.
