I have been using Google Analytics in DNN 5.0 and higher for several weeks.  The stats work fine but a strange thing occurs on any of my DNN sites running version 5.0 or higher.  At the very bottom of the page, on each and every site with Google Analytics installed, closing characters are displayed, ");"  - without the quotes of course

This does not happen in a DNN site running 4.x.  I have re-pasted the Google code and it has the same result.  If I remove the code, the characters disappear.  This is happening on different sites, under different portals, using different skins, in different DNN versions higher than 5.0.

Any insight would be much appreciated.

Current versions of DotNetNuke include a Google Analytics module. It's a page under Admin. Just open that page and paste your Google Analytics Tracking Code. There is no need to paste the Google code into your pages.

I am using the Google Analytics module found in the admin menus. Sorry I did not specify that.

I have not seen this. Just paste the bare tracking code into the configuration box. Is that what you did?

I want to be sure you are saying ( as we are having this same issue ) that we just need to place our tracking code in the Tracking ID box and no code in the URL Parameters box. Then it should work?
