FCKeditor install problem-page not found

After i installed the FCKeditor, means copied the content of bin and provider folders to dotnetnuke's bin and providers directories, and changed the web.config (after making a backup) as written in the install.txt file and deomnstarted in the tutorial, every time i evnter the "edit content" link from a text/html editor, i reach to the editing page, but instead of the WYSIWYG area, i just recivie a "page not found" message. what's that ?.. p.s Currently i restored my previous web.config file, but left the files I copied in the dnn directory. The editing is working properly (the old editing functions)

Hello tikakit Try this it might help: Open your site folder: Locate and open this folder: Providers\HtmlEditorProviders\FckhtmlEditorProvider Within this folder you should see a file named: FckHtmlEditorOptions.aspx Open the file and within the head section, insert this line: before the end tag. Hello all, I have not come across this problem in FCKEditor, and I have tested it with 4.3.6. (Although a new version of FCKEditor has been released today) I would double check each step as a starting point. Lynn, I will be interested to see what you suggested. - If you copy and paste your code into VWD express and then copy and paste the code from VWD into the forum it will display the code without problems. Hi Lee I had the same problem and I found the code I suggested worked for me. I have yet to upgrade to the new version, so I don't know if it will work or if it is required with the latest version. I don't use VWD I use Dreamweaver, I hope this will work Below I have copied and pasted the head section of my: FckHtmlEditorOptions.aspx <head id="Head"> <title> <%= Title %> </title> <style id="StylePlaceholder" runat="server"></style> <asp:placeholder id="CSS" runat="server"></asp:placeholder> <asp:placeholder id="FAVICON" runat="server"></asp:placeholder> <asp:Literal id="_clientScript" runat="server"></asp:Literal> <asp:placeholder id="phDNNHead" runat="server"></asp:placeholder> <!--Insert The Line Below --> <base target="_self"> </head> All you need to do is insert the line base target="_self" enclosed within html tags, just before the end html "forward slash head" tag.
