hi everyone, i hope someone could give me a hand with this problem its a little bit complex.

I've configured my events module(5.0.2 version) to display a day event detail in other page, so when i click in a day number the other page is loaded and all events referent to that day its displayed. But the problem is that all the modules in my page disappears, only the skinobjects(breadcrumb,housemenu) remains in the page.

So, i'd like to know if there is any way to keep my module in my page, or transform this modules in skinobjects, something like that, i dont know what to do.

any idea is welcome.

I'm not up to date on the Events module, but causing other modules to disappear certainly isn't "normal" behavior. Are there any errors in the Event Log?

hi Craig, i really not sure if thats a bug, because i have installed tha articles module and when i try to display the details of a articles, the module give me the option to show the article full description in other page, but removing all modules in it. So this problem with the events details its probably something the events creators made it that way, i dont know why . i'm not sure its just a theory. Anyway i'm using the 5.0.2 version of the Events Module and the dotnetnuke 4.9.2. I've searched for something in the log but no lucky at all.

I've never seen anything like that.  So, which module does this?  Can you show me an example?

I'm using a module called "Advanced Articles", u probably know it, so this module give 3 differents options to display my article full description:

1- Inline with page content
2- In a popup windows
3- In a separate page without other page content, take a look in this screenshot ( http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/518/advart.jpg)

So i believe that third options is the same behavior that my Events module is executing. When i create a events in my calendar i choose a page where my events full description will be displayed, but like i said, all the module in my page are excluded, only the skinobjects remains.

When you click the "Event Detail New Page" option in the module settings the module will use an admin page to display the event details. You can't add modules to a admin page - admin pages only show skin objects.

Down a little farther in the module settings you will see the option "Set Event Detail Page Allowed". Turn that option on by clicking the checkbox. Now when you add a new event the new event form will have a "Custom Detail Page" option. Clicking that option will open up the settings and allow you to input the URL for the page you have built to show that event's details. You can add other modules to that page.
