Hi
Does anyone know if its possible to and the £ show front of the value rather than behind it?
It looks pretty weird like this:
46.30 £
Cheers
Tom

Hello,
Yes it is possible, you need to go to manage user-defined table, display settings, rendering method:
User-defined XSL transformation
Then use the wizard to create the columns you require and you can change the order of the £ and value.
The videos covered this here:

Hi Lee
Thanks for your reply
I've watch the video over again but being a bit of a beginner I'm still unsure how to use the
Token Based XSLT Generator and Editor.
What do I need to add to move the '£' symbols position?
" [UDT:EditLink]
[Provider]
[Package]
[Setup_UDT_Value]"
It looks like a really powerful tool.
I take it this can also be used instead of the
Filter Statement?
I'm hoping to create 5 charts on separate pages that display the same data but filtered based on specific criteria e.g displaying only records with a price below X amount.
Thanks
Tom

Go to Manage User Defined Table
User Defined XSL File - click generate new
In HTML Template it should add all details you need in there
ie:
<!--[if gte mso 9]>
Normal
0
unctuationKerning/>
false
false
false
oNotPromoteQF/>
EN-GB
X-NONE
X-NONE
ontGrowAutofit/>
ontVertAlignCellWithSp/>
ontBreakConstrainedForcedTables/>
ontVertAlignInTxbx/>
MicrosoftInternetExplorer4
<!-- /* Font Definitions */ @font-face {font-family:"Cambria Math"; panose-1:2 4 5 3 5 4 6 3 2 4; mso-font-charset:1; mso-generic-font-family:roman; mso-font-format:other; mso-font-pitch:variable; mso-font-signature:0 0 0 0 0 0;} @font-face {font-family:Calibri; panose-1:2 15 5 2 2 2 4 3 2 4; mso-font-charset:0; mso-generic-font-family:swiss; mso-font-pitch:variable; mso-font-signature:-520092929 1073786111 9 0 415 0;} /* Style Definitions */ p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal {mso-style-unhide:no; mso-style-qformat:yes; mso-style-parent:""; margin:0cm; margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:12.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"; mso-fareast-font-family:Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font:minor-latin;} .MsoChpDefault {mso-style-type:export-only; mso-default-props:yes; font-size:10.0pt; mso-ansi-font-size:10.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt;} @page Section1 {size:612.0pt 792.0pt; margin:72.0pt 72.0pt 72.0pt 72.0pt; mso-header-margin:36.0pt; mso-footer-margin:36.0pt; mso-paper-source:0;} div.Section1 {page:Section1;} -->
< tr class="normal" >
< td >[UDT:EditLink]< /td >
< td >[money_UDT_Value]< /td >
< / tr >
You may want to click on the Insert Column link to format this such as:
< tr class="normal" >
< td >[UDT:EditLink]< /td >
< td >[money_UDT_Value]< /td >
< td >[money]< /td >
< / tr >
This will give you the money column with the £ symbol
Expand Options, add any further details you need there
Click Generate from HTML Template
Click on Save File and Return
It's been a while since I have done filtering, so it's prob best to refer to the information in the UDT videos, thanks,

Hi Lee
Thanks! That worked! I sort of get it now.
I've watched all the UDT vids but it doesn't get into filtering out side of
the Default Grid Table mode.
I'm assuming it is possible to filter using
but if it's not detailed in your video guide can you point me to anywhere on the web I can learn more about the advanced option that are possible?
Cheers

If the videos do not cover the extra filtering info you need, I would ask the core UDT team a question on the dotnetnuke forum.
