  In my portal, I need to manage  2 user's profiles  (profil1 and profil2) and I'd like to customize their registration. To better explain : I'd like to add  two types of registration  one for profil1 with a specific informations and an other for profil2  .

if you wish to manage the opt in of e-mail newsletters and also send e-mail newsletters from your DotNetNuke website, then I would have a look at datasprings opt in e-mail module:

Is there an easy way to add a newsletter subscription widget to a dnn website? By widget I mean just a text box or two where people fill out their e-mail address and name so they can receive a newsletter? I don't need the whole e-mail optin shebang for $$!

Fairly easy to do, but what do you do with it?  What is supposed to happen when they click the Submit button?

I got a similar question.

When you press submit the email would be stored in the DB with the users permission profile. Depending on that profile he would or wouldn't be eligible for newsletters.

I know that Lee talks about the Datasprings module but if DNN has a Newsletter module why not use that. I don't need any complicated sign ups as the admin needs to validate the information and eligibility before registering the user.
