I installed the free referrals module that is recommended by Smart Thinker. Sorry about the panic because now I notice that my html/text editor has reverted from rich text to basic text after installing the referrals module. I am not sure how this happens from the installation but it gave me a start because there was no control panel above the edit area. Not sure how to change title or delete posts here, sorry.

If you open a standard Text / HTML module can it use Rich Text Editor? There should be radio button options above the editor to select which mode you require.

Yes, I can see the radio buttons. It seems that installing the referrals module has set the text/html editor to default to basic mode. I think another thing should be noted, that I needed to set the custom editor options to a specific height since the module edit area was not showing. The module will accept only so much text for the message, not much more than a small paragraph.
