I use the blog module to post "news articles".  Site = www.wisconsinornamentals.com.

Because of the formatting and the need to put something in each of the boxes. . each 
"intro article" is spread out on the page and not easy to follow.

Is there some way (relatively easily) that I can change the formatting code so these will appear differently?  I know there are other modules out there, but this one allos me to show the archive, and I do want to use that feature. 

If such formatting cannot be easily done, can anyone suggest a better module for me to try that isn't too expensive?   Thanks.

Some of this you should be able to do with CSS styling. I thought, also that the new version of the blog module used templates, and that you could create your own.

Also, I've recently seen references to a separate, third-party, but free "viewer" module for the Blog module. I can't find it after a few minutes of searching ... but I know it's out there ... somewhere.

Here is an example of some CSS you could use:

For the title:

h2.blog_title a:link, h2.blog_title a:visited
{
    font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif;
font-size: 20px; 
line-height: 1.5em;
}
