Hi,
I want to have a page that shows only the content of a certain module, for example, my DNN website has a forum module, I want to have a page that shows only the forum, without the skin of the whole site (logos, menus, footers, etc).
Could any one tell me how to achieve this? thanks a great lot!

You will need to create a skin for that page that is essentially blank, except for the content pane into which you will place the forum module.

thanks Joe!!! so my understanding is that I need to create another 'skinless' website for it?
the further question is, if I create a 'skinless' (an empty skin) website, can I dupliate the forum from my normal website so they sync up with each other -- so they are not two seperate forums but indeed one forum just appears in two websites (one with normal skin and the other sits in a skinless site)?

No, you don't have to create another website. Just "skin" your forum page with a skin that doesn't include all of the stuff that you don't want to include.
Take an existing skin, and start by cutting out all of the skin objects and panes that you don't need. You have to keep the content pane.
You'll probably also want to add a Text/HTML module at the top or the bottom with a link back to the main site, assuming that you want to be able to get back.

my problem is:
I want to keep the current site as it is, including the forum module. But I need a seperate page that contains a skinless module... so I can link this page to a desktop software...you know what I mean.

you could create a new page in your website that is not displayed in the menu, assign the 'empty' skin to that page and then insert a copy of your forum module into that page.
- I think that should work okay, the first thing I would test is that you can create a copy of the forum module. - use the 'add existing module' option in the top admin control panel
thanks,
