We have two portals German and English, whereas German is the main portlal. The biggest problem is that the German Portal uses/displayes "admin/security/signin.ascx.rex" although "admin/security/signin.ascx.de-AT.resx" also exists in the folder on the webserver. Also the language editor displays "signin.ascx.rex" which isn't possible to change in the German Portal but in the English portal. This isn't the case by the rest of the application. All German pages use the .ascx.de.AT.resx, but just the login page doesn't. Unique problem! Thanks for your help

You might want to check with Sebastian Leupold over on the DotNetNuke forums. He is quite involved with localization issues, and happens also to be German.

Many thanks for the hint, I found the solution answered by Sebastian in German DNN-Forum. For the people may have the same problem with language packs: I should edit this file in admin/Languages menu NOT in Host/Languages! Thanks again
