I followed the excellent tutorial about custom registration page, everything was okay, I think by the last step I made a mistake and can't login any more, this is the error message:

A critical error has been occured!
Unable to find control id 'Firma/Organistion:' referenced by the 'ControlToValidate' property of 'Firma/Organistion:_Req'.

It happened as I wanted to add a new field + category name.

Hope there is a solution for this issue

If you can access your database using SQL Server Management Studio or the Express version, the easiest solution is go go into the ProfilePropertyDefinition table and manually change the "Required" field to false for your new property. If you set a validation expression, you might have to set it to NULL, too.

That should permit you to login.

Then, you can test this, and only make it required after you have tested it.

Many thanks for the answer. I could connect to the database and found the table you maintioned. But don't know exactly what to hier do and above all am afraided to make something wrong and destroy every thing. I made a SS from the MS.
