"The text HTML module can display simple links, all you need to do is click on the link icon and enter the full URL for the page that you wish to link to."
The simple link feature seems to require the http:// prefix. which means I would have to
create a link that starts with
http://localhost....if I want it to work locally.
when I transfer the site to the live server will I not have to change this reference?
if you set the links module to display on every page, you can delete the module from a single page - so this may suit your needs.
I would like to make a relative link inside dnn. like a href="Forum/tabid88/bla bla bla/default.aspx which is standard in html.
large gap between two modules
do you know where I might control the padding around the skinpath%spacer.gif at the bottom of the page in the fckeditor. if i resize the gif it helps but there is still 25 px somewhere. if I delete the gif then there is not enough space between the two fckeditors.

This setting applies itself to all other modules that have not been set individually! And is not undoable. so you will have to go back and change the individual settings for the modules that had unique skins. The same kind of thing happens if you select apply to all modules. THey are similiar
by putting the links token/module in the skin directly i was hoping for it to populate the child links automatically. This seems like to much trouble if you want to have two links tokens/modules formatted differently on the same page. So I will just add the left links menu page by page and populate the links one by one, instead of populating the links through the page heirarchy settings.
thanks
