You can turn off the expansion icon by setting "visibilty" to "none" in the module settings.

You can remove the print icon by un-checking the box that allows printing in the module settings.

You can change the font size by modifying the style in container.css for the container that you are using. Alternatively, you can create an additional container by copying the one that you use and using a custom style in container.css. Doing that will preserve the original container and style.

thanks for your help. I would have thought visibility set to none would affect more than just the expansion icon.

i tried changed the font by editing the container.css but it was not changing the text. no matter which style I changed. it was the css being used because other styles settings were being affected but not the text. So I went to host to skins then down to the skin designer. selected the container, selected the file and selected the token TITLE and finally selected the value as the name of a class in the style sheet I was using. this gave me control over the title font size.
