The width of skin is set to 770px and the logo is also 770 in width. However, the logo appears to have shrunk! Not in line with the width of skin. How can I correct htis?

You should be aware of the fact that browsers don't measure dimensions the same. Unless you are on an intranet that you control viewers preferences(IE.. resolution, Browser, ETC) you can never get an exact measurement.

I'm guessing here, but I'm betting you want the logo to fill the entire area in the header.

The best way to accomplish this is to shrink your image by 5PX and set the header background color to match your border thus getting it to blend. Remember that padding is involved so make sure you adjust for that.

Lee makes a good point in one of his vids though that when you get a visitor with images turned off.

For example:

If you set the BG color to black and your foreground to black this will display great if your text is on a white or light colored image. But if the image is removed your text will simply disappear. Keep that in mind if its an issue.
