The Reports module allows you to create reports from database tables managed by DotNetNuke using SQL (assuming that you are using a MSSQL Server database). Depending on what you want to do, this can range from easy to hard.

If you have access to your database, you can use SQL Server Management Studio or the Express edition to poke around. Look at the Users table and also the tables with Profile in their names.

In next months tutorials I have created a series of tutorials related to transferring dnn sites from localhost to a live site and in there it details how to attach the database.mdf file to SQL Server express and then how to reconfigure your web.config file after you have attached the database.

The reports module will cover what you require, but if you want to get into the depths of the tables etc. SQL express will help you out.
