I am needing something like the built-in Events core module to able to be used as a private calendar for each user.  In other words if user1 enters an event, I don't want user2 to be able to see it and vice-versa.  Is the core Events Module designed for this?  If so, how do I configure it to act this way?  I read that the new version that they are planning supports private calendars, but I didn't know if that was possible with the current version.

Also, is there documentation for the Events module that talks about how to add events programmatically?
