I have a flash banner in my skin..

in the latest IE update flash banners get the message : "Click to activate and use this control"

I used the recommended java script found here : http://www.mix-fx.com/flash-prompt.htm

But I still get the message

Do you have another way to remove that?

I posted this on the other forum. 

If I remember correctly, I read not too long ago that this is an issue only with IE.  Microsoft does own the intellectual property for these controls; they are licensed to use them.

Apparently Microsoft wasn't living up to their end of the licensing agreement and was sued.  They lost and part of the judgement against them was to remove the native capability of these controls in IE... which seems to be the case and why you have to click the control twice to activate it. 

I personally haven't run into this problem with Firefox or Opera.

I shoudl have said in my previous post, "Microsoft does not own the intellectual property for these controls."
