Screenshot here
The dialog boxes that pop up whenever you go to edit content or log in appear too far down on the screen on one of my pages. I feel it must be something in my skin, because I am using a different skin on that page. (On all the other pages, the modal box positioning is fine.)
Of course, I can drag the box up higher, but some of our website content editors have smaller screens where the box almost disappears completely.
The skin I am using on this page is a modified version of Flatna2-Home Basic. I have looked at the CSS & source code and am just not sure what I could've done.

Try commenting out the bar at the bottom out.
Is that some sort of hide/show bar or something?

Looking at the source (using Inspect Element in Chrome) there are inline styles on that div which dictate the positioning. On other pages in my site, it's just "top: 300px" or so, but on this page, it's "top: 873.5px". But I don't know how to change that.

You can try to override it with Jquery:
$(document).ready(function () {
$(".Your css class").css("the attribute - top", value);
});

I managed to override it in CSS using "!important". Not pretty but it works, and I'm comfortable with CSS. Javascript scares me. Thanks!

Well nevermind.... that makes it so the modal windows can't be dragged anymore...
I will just have to move the window whenever I edit this page. I don't think anyone other than me will need to edit it anyway...

I see things like this occasionally, and I've just learned to drag the modal higher (sometimes on some sites I just turn off popups.).
Given that the value assigned to top varies, I'm guessing that something in the code is calculating where it thinks that top should be. If you have a custom skin for that page, maybe it has an odd height and the calculation is really wrong.
If you do the jquery route, you can target the change to the specific element of the modal, rather than everything with that class when you make the change in css. That's another reason to get comfortable with jquery ...
