Hi to all,

I have upgraded my site from dnn 4.9.4 version to 7.1.1 version,I'm facing problems are
1.Downdown(tabs) are not (popup)Showing on click.And not able to update host and Admin section properly.
2.While updation of superAccount,some controls are in loading stage.


Please help me to come out this...

Can you describe how you did the upgrade. I recommend following the "suggested upgrade path" here: http://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/pag...grade_path

Since your installation is 4.9.4, upgrade to 4.9.5 and then follow the recommended steps.

Do you upgrades on a local or development server. Do not do it on a production site.

Do a backup at every step so that you can go back as needed. Do your testing step by step. Check everything. By doing that, you will find the place where the upgrades cause problems. Then, you can fix them and move forward.

Thank you Joseph.I have followed "upgrade path" and re-upgraded my site from 4.9.4 to 7.0.0 .It working fine before changes done from iconbar to Ribbonbar in Host setting.After this changes my Site Showing "DNN Error ,Return to site " Error .

The error message is related to the CKEditor.

Assuming that you were making backup copies of each step in the upgrade path, the best thing to do is to back up to last step that worked. My guess is that it's the last 6.x version.

First, make sure that it really is working.

Then, UNINSTALL the CKEditor and continue the upgrade process. After you get to 7.x, you will want to set the editor to use the DNNRadEditor. Continue to upgrade until you get to 7.1.2. At that point you should be able to reinstall the CKEditor, but be sure to use the version for DNN 7.x.

Thank you Joe for the reply.I restored my last dnn version 6.2.8 of Db backup.In there I found 2.0.4 version of fck Editor.I got Same error when i changed iconbar to ribbonbar.

Shall i restore the Dnn 5.6.8 version of DB and Uninstall the FCKEditor and Continue the upgrade process.
Please tell me further steps,

I would go back to 6.2.8, uninstall the CK Editor, make sure that the DNN editor works, and try the upgrade again. Or upgrade Watcher's CD Editor module to a later version before upgrading from 6.2.8 to 7.x.

This may also be a .NET Version issue. Make sure that your DNN application and App Pool are upgraded to ASP.NET 4.0.
