DNN Creative Video UPDATES?

I have been looking through your list of tutorial videos, for example: How to backup a live hosted DotNetNuke website and restore it to a localhost installation... (SQL server 2005 to SQL server 2005 express) By Lee Sykes July 2007 How to Synchronize Local and Live DotNetNuke Installations Issue 26 Subscribe to the magazine (Red Gate - SQL Data Compare) By Lee Sykes November 2007 and a multitude of additional topics. Do you have any updated tutorials to work with SQL Server 2008, and more updated versions of DNN ver 5 or 6? on this topic that are more resent than 2007?? Are these articles still applicable to current versions? I am trying to learn this.. but when I see 2007... when it is 2012... I get a bit concerned about attempting these actions with current DNN 6.1.5 software when I have little experience with SQL Server 2008 / IIS / etc... I am working with SQL ServerSTD, DNN 6.1.5, IIS 7.5, .NET 4 I would like to figure out how to move a Live (working) site to my local system to develop locally, I am just looking for an updated explanation of the process. I love the walk throughs you provide, but due to my lack of experience with multiple aspects involved in a DNN site (SQL /IIS/.NET) - as a designer these areas are still quite a stumbling block for me. Could you please tell me if these videos are still applicable or direct me to some that are more current? Appreciate any suggestions here.

Believe it or not, those videos are still quite appropriate. One minor difference might depend on the version of IIS that you are using, so you may have to make some slight adjustments in creating the local website, but that's about it. If you have mastered doing a local install of DotNetNuke, you've already taken care of that issue.
