Hi Guys,
I upgraded my site to DNN 6.1.3 to fix issues now I have a big one and it even happens when I do a fresh install.
Basically I can upload files to the server using the image manager I can see them in the admin/file manager but if they are not in the root then I can not see them in the image manager to add them to a page.
SO basically something has screwed up with sub folders in the image manager. it is not refreshing or displaying files.
No errors. No other issues so Far just this.
I have checked permissions and they are fine I have even checked the files are ok by uploading or moving them to portal root and then I can see them and use them but this will make a mess of file structures.
Please help can not ask at Dotnetnuke.com as the site is down.
Thanks
Paul

That link does not work Joseph
And I know which link you are sending me to I have tried that but that is for folders I am able to see the folders just not the things in side the folders.
I can see everything in Portal root files and folders but as soon as I click a folder there is nothing in those folders
Thanks
Paul

Remove the period at the end of the URL and it will work. Sorry about that.
My test site is at 6.1.2 and I don't seem to see that problem. You might want to switch to the Telerik editor provider on the Host, HTML Editor Manager page and see if that provider is any better. Hopefully, I'll get to test this on a 6.1.3 system soon.

I am starting to see other reports of this issue on dotnetnuke.com but no solution as yet (will post back if I see one). Apart from Joe's suggestion, you might want to try the CK Editor which can be downloaded from dnnckeditor.codeplex.com.

Hi Pingle, I am not messing around changing to another editor. We have made several mods that only work with the radeditor including our Affiliate Easily solution so staff can monetize our sites with just knowledge of the editor not html
http://store.dotnetnuke.com/home/pr...ate-easily
If we can not use the radeditor then using DNN is a waiste of time as there are to many issues appearing.
Thanks for your help hopefully someone at DNN will look at this and have an answer if not then 5 years in DNN community is going down the drain as I have deadlines to keep and can not keep paying for time fixing issues.
Hate to say it but I never get this with PHP based stuff.
Thanks Guys for all your help and if you find an answer Please Please post
Thanks

Pingle,
Could you post some links? The only comments I have been able to find date from last year, and seem to be addressed by the blog post from Will Strohl.

My bad, Joe, looks like it was Paul's post over at dotnetnuke.com that I saw with the other post being a different problem. I will be upgrading to 6.1.3 on one of my installs shortly and will see if I get the same issue.

FWIW I upgraded a DNN 6.1.2 install to DNN 6.1.3 last night and the DNNRadEditor Image Manager is displaying/inserting/uploading files in subfolders OK. Just to confirm that this is not a general issue with DNN 6.1.3. Hope you get an answer soon.

Found the answer you need to login to the database and change the capitalization to match the folder as soon as you do that you need to clear cache and restart the app and it works.
Thanks

I think that was the second option in Will Strohl's blog post that I mentioned.
