I have successfully configured MSSQL Server 2008 r2 remote connection. I am using windows 7 and it has two user like Admin and Others. If I Login into windows 7 Others User it will connect successfully. If I Login into windows 7 Admin user it shows the following error. TITLE: Connect to Server ------------------------------ Cannot connect to I5PC\SQL2008EXPRESS. ------------------------------ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Login failed. The login is from an untrusted domain and cannot be used with Windows authentication. Set up a user with dbo privileges and set the connection string for that user, rather than using Windows authentication.
