We are having some really weird issues with the admin site settings page. When you go under appearance you see this error.

When you click update on the admin site settings page it loads this error.

I thought maybe there was a problem with the install and we were running 6.01.0 so I upgraded to 6.01.01 but we still have issues. Any idea on how I can fix this?

There are other errors. The "About Us" page throws an error.

Was this a new install of 6.0.1, or was it an upgrade from an earlier version of DotNetNuke?

This was a new install of 6.01.0 then I upgraded to 6.01.01 to try and fix the issue we were having. I know I had some weird issues with the host account. Couldn't get logged in when I knew what the password was because I modified it in the DB. I ended up having to register, set that account to host and then create a new one. Any other ideas? I'm investigating what actual user is trying to request files because we have tons of dnn sites set up the exact same way so file permissions shouldn't be an issue.

Update, so I thought maybe I would just add everyone with read/write permissions for a second to test and see if it really was a file permissions issue. When I try to add everyone manually the computer can't find it. I talked to one of my server engineers and he said that the server sounds like it can't find the domain any more. He said before I spend any more time, I should reboot the server. I'm going to have to wait until tonight to do that, so I'll let you know what happens.

It is not a file permissions issue. There is a problem with some code.

If you can login as host, use the Tools menu to clear the cache and recycle the app pool. I doubt that will help.

See if there are any *.log.resources files in Providers\DataProviders\SqlDataProvider. Those will contain errors that may have occurred during installation. See http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources...rors.aspx.

There may be some other log files in other directories.

New installs no longer add an admin user as part of the install wizard just the host account user.
I have this same error with every new install until I add an admin user.
