I want to develop a site that needs the following functionalities;

1. A Search Engine where (only for members) can search a broad phrase or can use advanced search features to narrow down the search.
2. Description of each company as well as its contact details should show on the results area.
3. When a Company is clicked from the results a new window opens with more information about the company.
4. Each company should have pages with its products, description, profile, other members rating scores and inventory if applicable.
5. Members should be able to add and adjust their pages
6. Members should be able to rate other members according to their experience with them.
7. Members should be able to Blog inside the website.
8. Only members could enter the secure area which gives the information of other members after they have signed up and met all terms and conditions and paid the membership fees.
9. There will be a public area in the website which will include 5 to 10 informative pages.
10. The website should have the capacity to hold thousands of members.
11. The website should be secured by HTTPS Security
12. The Website should allow payment online for the membership fees of the members.
13. Members should be able to send messages to each other members via the website, where each member should have an inbox and outbox.
14. The admin should receive feeds on his dashboard informing him what is happening on the website
15. The admin should have total control over giving access to members, and on the level of access of members.
16. The admin should have control over what is being posted via the blog.
17. There should be an area where each member is able to write the company profile and upload information about the company and its products. ex. The amount of stock available for each product.


is there any modules with the help of which I can do the above functionalities?

1. There are some third party search enhancements. Also, the Pro version of DotNetNuke includes an enhanced search tool. To limit to members, just tie the search box and search results page to security group membership. For the search box, you would only display it when members are logged in.

2. For the company directory you might look at Ventrian's Property Manager module. In your thinking a "company" is a "property." There may be other modules that do this better for your application.

5-9. Active Social should satisfy this requirement. Note that an upcoming release of DotNetNuke will include Active Social. You may need the Pro version for all of the features, but I don't know this for sure.

14-15. Not quite sure what you want to see here

16. Require approvals for blog posts.

17. Should be covered by previous. You may need to configure to give certain users certain control.

So ... Active Social plus Ventrian's Property Manager and a few others should get you going ...
