I'm in a problem solving rut right now. Basically, there is an area on my site that has multiple fields that should be edited separately of one another like a form, but I want them in one container. Is there an easy way to do this that I'm not thinking of? I'm new to DNN and don't have the prowess currently to think about this as critically as I'd like.

Could you provide a few more details? I'm not quite sure what you are trying to do.

Yes, essentially I want a container that a user will be able to put in a list of data but edit single lines without having to try to format it correctly in a text editor. For instance, this container will be used on many websites in our department but the information about the department changes on each site. I want those users to be able to personalize all that information like their phone number, address, suite, etc. without having to worry about formatting it correctly in a text editor. These people aren't web savvy, or even computer savvy for that matter, so I'm trying to make it as intuitive as possible.

So ultimately, can I have a container where a user can edit a phone number, an address, a department name, etc. without having to do it all in the same text box? Is there a module that solves this problem?

The Form and List module may come closest meeting your requirements.

As I understand it, you want to be able to display several items in a module, and you'd also like to be able to have someone modify those items.

Another approach would be to use something like Ventrian's News Article module, and create custom fields for the items that you want to display. The nice think about that module is that it uses templates to control the display, so you have quite a bit of control over the display.
