Hi All, my application (C#) has auto update functionality and I need to server the files on the DNN website for the auto updater to fetch. Is there a way to manage that files are accessible for this auto updater, however are not publicly available for the rest of the world? Make the file available for registered users would be the obvious solution, however, I don't know if the auto-updater will be able to login programatically. Anybody another suggestion how this can be achieved? Thanks!

I think that you are on the right track. It is possible to login programatically. I believe that DataSprings' Dynamic Login module can be configured to login with username/password credentials passed in the querystring. I don't know if this can be done encrypted or not. I have a dim recollection of doing this for a special application about 4 years ago. If you need me to look, I can dig through my archives and look for the ugly code I created back then.
