As we are moving from an older non DNN portal to DNN 5.6 we have imported and registered users in the system. Unfortunately, we did not have users email addresses.

So what we wanted to do was to force a user to complete their profile details whe they first login, this is not the issue.

I installed the dnnwerks user module to create a cistom profile page which has the email token added.

However, whenever a user logs in they only get the standard DNN update profile page, even though I have changed the site settings for the profile page.

Is this an issue with DNN 5.6?

Can I get DNN to open the new profile page if a users profile is not valid ( missing a required field entry).

Althernatively, can I edit the standard update profile page to disply the users email and allow them to add it or update it form there.

Any help would be really appreciated

Did you specify the custom profile page in the Admin, Site Settings?

I have the same problem. I have created a new page called "Profile" and added a DataSprings Dynamic Registration component on it. I then set Admin > Site Settings > Advanced Settings > Page Management > User Profile Page = Profile

My Profile page works fine when I click on it.

After people register and login, they are missing some manadatory profile fields. I expected that the Profile page would be showed, but instead the default profile page is shown. The URL of the default profile page is https://www.site.com/default.aspx?TabID=64

After the mandatory fields are entered, clicking on the profile link in the header of any page shows my "Profile" page as expected.

It would appear that when mandatory fields are missing in a profile, the Page Management Profile page setting is not used.
