I am using dotnetnuke application and i am very new for this. I added iframe module in dnn. In this iframe module i am showing another .net project with external db. Now what i want is

1.> when ever any user is registering using dnn its details should also saved in external database.
2.> If user is logged in using dnn credentials then at that time in our iframe project, which is connected to external db, it should not ask for login credentials.
I mean to say is by single login he should be able to access nuke and external iframe project. I am maintaing session for login page of iframe project. If session is null then it will come to login page of dnn.
But i am not able to get it how we can do it.
I got one product from http://www.snowcovered.com/ . Product is DNNMasters User Sync Manager (PA). It is saying we can synchronize nuke db to external db and work with both db at the same time. But i am not sure whether to invest money in that product or not.
Please help me in this regard.

1. You will need to create a custom registration process. I'd recommend that you look at the Dynamic Registration and Dynamic Login modules from Data Springs.

2. You DotNetNuke site and the one that you iframe are separate sites. You'll need to login a user to the second site at the same time that they login to the DotNetNuke site. This may be possible, but it may be difficult and/or messy. Besides the modules mentioned above, use "single signon" in your Google search for answers.

I think that the User Sync Manager is designed for syncing users between DotNetNuke sites. I don't know enough to know if you can use the session state from DotNetNuke in your "other" site. As far as login is concerned, I think that it is the DotNetNuke site that is the user of the other site.
