Do you ever feel that with the furiousness in which updates sometimes seem to come out that if you have a lot of sites everything just seems to delay work you actually need to get done

I maybe the only one who feels like that as I checked yesterday and I have something like 400 DNN Instances on the server(Do not use portals as different clients and if they decide to move for any reason then it makes it easier).

Well I know there are upgrade systems out there like DnnAutoUpgrade 5.7 but this only does one site at a time and what if one of your site has some custom code in one of the files

anyway i have got tired of all these systems that are designed for one site

my clients do not understand upgrades or most of the DNN admin nore do they want to they just want to get on with there business and pay me to do the techy stuff.

So if I build a windows based upgrade system that can be installed remotely or on a server would this be of any help to anyone.

I am building it anyway for me so let me know and any ideas i.e. things you would like to see in the system

like selecting different upgrade packs for different sites

or

add a specific file to a specific domain.

I am going to give it a username and password control so you can login to your server remotely and link into IIS to decide which sites you wish to upgrade also thinking of adding an install system in it so install can have one set of information for one click install. I know DNN can be installed via the web gallery but it is always an out of date version on the web gallery from what I have seen.

Anyway please let me know and I will start to put something together.

I'm not aware of something that is licensed as you suggested. However, if there is a product that you like, I would suggest that you contact the developer and see if you can work out a deal.
