I have an existing site that has been upgraded from 3.2 to 5.5.1 over the years.

The "Forgot Password?" doesn't seem to be working correctly.  When I click the link, it loads (http://www.mysite.com/Home/tabid/36...ult.aspx), but the page is mostly blank.

The following are my current setting:

If I change the requiresUniqueEmail to true, will it then work?  Also, what happens if there are non unique email account existing in the database?

Does that page include the "Send Password" text?

Changing requiresUniqueEmail to true won't solve the problem.

If there are non unique emails, this could cause an error. I'm not sure as I've never made that sort of change after the fact.

After clicking the "forgot password ?" link on the login page, a new page is rendered with just the normal skin header (etc) and a horizontal rule. No place to enter the user name. No other text (instructions) are displayed.  (Browse to www.playhousecumming.com to see it.)

Have you specified a custom login page?

As Login and Register seem to be working, this is a bit unusual.  I'm not sure where to look now ...

(Oh, and I've been to Cumming many times.  My brother used to live there.  He's moved "up the road to Dawsonville.)

No custom login page is used.

This problem has got me stumped. I guess I'm going to have to trace thru it in debug and see if I can find out what's happening.

I live and work in Gainesville. The City of Cumming has been a client of mine for 20+ years. There are some "good people" in the area. The city has a great little theater that sells 100% of their tickets thru this site. Users can login, pick their seats, make the payment and the tickets are emailed to them. All thanks to DNN and me. We've had some issues with our credit card processor's gateway, but hopefully that will be resolved soon.

Are you in the Cumming area much?

I seem to recall that the Forgot Password stuff is actually part of the Login module.  I didn't see any of the code in your page, so it's really not being sent out.

I'll be interested in what you find.

I haven't tracked it down fully yet, but the code is in \Website\admin\Security\SendPassword.ascx that does the sending of the password reminders.
