Hello,
I am new to DNN, but I like what I have learned so far.
I was hoping someone could point me to the right direction.
I would like to create a custom Registeration page on my website.
Meaning, when a person clicks on "Register" they should be taken to my custom page which should do exactly what the register page currently does.
On this page I will add extra fields and other options that I should handle myself.
This is what I need:
1) How do I change the link of the registration to another page?
2) What code to I use if I want a user to be created in the system (where is this code)? I want to add this user exactly as if he used the original register page - but I want this done from my new page.
Thanks in advance,
Sorcerdon

the easiest thing to do is create a custom skin & container for the home page.
The home page skin & container are pulled for privacy, terms, register, login, and a few other things. By hard coding information into the skin that you want to appear on these pages, you insure it always appears to the user (if you want it busy).
The information pulled into the page for these items is always put into the ContentPane - so you can move/rename panes as desired, but keep in mind this skin/pane setup is used in many areas of DNN.
There are third party registration modules you can purchase as well - such as Dynamic Registration - then you just create a page called "register now!" or whatever you want - add the regsitration module - and go to Admin> site settings > advanced settings > Select "Register Now!" from your "Page Management | Registration Page" dropdown list

Yes, you can create a new page, and place the login/registration module on it. You will specify that page as the Login page in the admin, site settings page.
Now, it gets a little trickier with the notion that you can add your own options on that page. They won't be integrated with the registration, and probably won't work the way that you want them to work. You might want to take a look at
How to Manage Profile Properties in User accounts (Creating a custom registration page)
For more "complicated" additions, the recommendation to use Dynamic Login from Data Springs is a good one.
