Hello,

I am building a website for my family and one of the main components is a "family narrative" section where members can come on and share stories about their lives.  I have been using the text/html module to do this but it is proving difficult for family members with less technical experience to use the editor as the formatting is often upset by the slightest changes. 

Are there any other text modules out there that act more like a conventional word processor and are easier to use?  I have been looking around in snowcovered for maybe a publishing module, but those all still seem to rely on the standard text/html module for the processing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

One thing that you could do is limit the tools available to your users, much like the toolbar is limited for forums on this site.  You might want to look at:

• FCK Editor Custom Toolbars and Security Roles
• FCK Editor Further Configuration Options

You might also want to do something similar with the Blog module rather than the Text/HTML module.
