Is there a token I can use for token replacement for privacy and terms of a site?

Note quite sure what you want to do. If you look at the default pages (the templates are in the language editor) you'll find some tokens that are used. But, more details on your needs will definitely guide answers to your questions.

well, here's the issue.

For SEO purposes, the privacy and terms pages appeared as duplicated pages for each page of your website; We used to create custom pages and hard code the links in the skin so you didn't get 500 of something like this:http://www.maineopengov.org/Privacy...fault.aspx

However this has been fixed in DNN 5.

What I want is to easily create a custom page for privacy/terms that pulls the DNN default wording, but allows me to edit the skin it is using, instead of using the home page skin, as is the annoying default set up of DNN...

Is there a workaround other than maintaining a page and hardcoding the links in every new skin file?

As far as I can tell there is no such thing as a [portal:privacy] token, but I was hoping someone may know of another way to pull this information into a page or module.

Since the privacy language is stored in a RESX file, you can certainly create a module that can pull the text from it.

It might be easier, though, to create a hidden page, place a Text/HTML module on it, and use existing tokens and token replacement to fashion your own custom privacy statement.  You can arrange and style this page as you see fit.

You could create a custom PRIVACY skin object that replaces the corresponding DotNetNuke skin object.  Mitchel Sellers has a blog entry (mitchelsellers.com) that shows how to create a skin object.  It's really quite easy, provided that you know some programming.  By replacing the skin object, you'd need to do only minimum adjustments to skins.  If you replace the DotNetNuke skin object with yours, no skin modifications will be required, but you'll have to manually replace the skin object whenever you upgrade DotNetNuke.
