I have two sites:
dnn.mysite1.com
dnn.mysite2.com

Both sites are using the same DNN installation but obviously each have their own admins.

Can each site have its own email address - meaning that when users get verification emails when they sign up for the first site, they get an email from admin@mysite1.com; and when they sign up for the second site, they get an email from admin@mysite2.com?

Or, because they are using the same DNN installation, I can only use 1 email address for both sites?

I plan to sell websites to clients and use the same DNN installation for them. But obviously each website I sell, I would want it to have its own email address.

Hello,

Yes each site can have their own email.

The email address for each installation is taken from the email adress of the administrator for that portal.

If you make the changes to the email addresses for the administrators and DNN is still sending the emails to the old address you need to log in as Host, Go to the Host Menu / Site Settings

Scroll to the bottom and click on Restart Application

This will make sure DNN picks up the new settings.

OK, that makes total sense. Thank you so much. I have been racking my brain for weeks trying to get these sites figured out and I think I finally have it. Although, I can' t find "restart application" anywhere under any of the Host or Admin pages. At first I was receiving the emails at the old email address, so I basically created a new user, gave that user admin access, used the new email address, and selected that user as the Admin for the site. So it all works now!
