So we have a default dnn site that we use to install all new dnn sites we put up. I have done this process the same a lot and it usually works fine. However, this last site I did is broken. Basically we have some default pages such as contact us or location. When you click on the link it takes you to a broken link. The link in the url looks something like this http://domain.com/Default.aspx?TabID=56 However the link I clicked on for the contact us page should have taken me here http://kearneykidzone.com/contactus.aspx. This is working on our default site fine and this website is an exact copy. The only thing different is the databases, which the new one is a restore from the default database and all I change is the urls to redirect to domain.com instead of deafaultsite.com. Any ideas on how I can fix this? Thanks,

The issue is tabid. When you install the site, you cannot guarantee that the tabid is preserved. When it changes, the link will break.

If you are using "friendly URLs" you can edit the URL to use the form that you need. The example that you used, for example, is a friendly URL. DotNetNuke will generally create a URL like http://kearneykidzone.com/contactus...id/99.aspx which you can change to http://kearneykidzone.com/contactus.aspx. That will not change from site to site.

How do I change the friendly urls to do that then?

There is a Host setting that needs adjusting.  Then you will need to click the "Restart the Application" link.
