How to make database connection with module?

I am making a simple module in which i have added 3-4 textboxes and a button.On click of this button all the textbox information should be store in the database of that module table.I have not created any table for this module now. So how could i connect to the database and insert that record.For insertion i have to write the insert query with ExecuteNonQuery.Also Where we have to place this file to connection with database. After all that i have to show that record in a grid their itself and i have to bind that grid on code behind with all the events. Please help me in understanding this module with database interaction. Thanks, Abhishek

More information about module development, and the recommended architecture implementing the Data Access Layer can be found at adefwebserver.com. There is a Module Development Guide that you can download. I also recommend the book on module development written my Mitchel Sellers.
