I am using dotnetnuke 5.2.   all the time I go into on the web site(Home Page) .  in the status bar of Internet explorer 7. i get errors on page. I try to login into the web site.  and just freeze up on me.  do you know why this going on.

Are the errors javascript errors?

Are you using a custom skin?

If you are using a custom skin, try switching the site's skin to Minimal Extropy and see if the errors go away.

Yes I am using a custom skin. How can I changed it if I can't logged in.

There are two choices.

First:  Go into the database, open the PortalSettings table, find the setting that specifies the default skin, and change it.

Second: In the website directory, change the name of the directory that holds the skin file.  That should cause the site to revert to the default skin.

I just find out my probllem my web stie is back up and running.

What was the problem, and how did you fix it?

its working at my work computer.  .  but its not working on home computer.   anymore.  at work I'm running Internet Explorer 6.0. and home I'm running Internet Explorer 7.0.   would you know why this happening.

It's a javascript error.  You need to look at the javascript on that page and ... debug it.  IE8 has built-in tools with which you can step through javascript.

what about you do not know anything about javascript. you are out luck then. i Have download IE8

do you know why it works on local machine but It wil not work on server.

I'm afraid that I don't know that.  Perhaps something is not properly configured on your server?
