Help.. I have searched the forums and searched the videos but cannot find an answer to my question.  I have an install of DNN 4.9.4 and want to change the required fields for new users when they register.  I have looked everywhere and cannot find this.  I found a video for DNN 4.3/3.3 and it shows "user account settings".  But these links are not there in DNN 4.9.4.  Can you please point me to where I can find these settings?

You want to go to:

Admin menu / User accounts
Click on the Manage Profile Properties link
There is a required tickbox there for each field property

Lee, thanks for the help. I did look at those videos, but it doesn't apply to 4.9.4. The link to the "Manage User Accounts" is a menu item under the little triangle in the upper right corner of the module. I was looking for a link like the videos show.. no matter, I finally figured it out.

The link appears in a default installation of 4.9 and 5.2. - It may not appear in yours if you are using a custom container that does not have Action Buttons specified. - If that's the case any links such as those that are displayed at the bottom of a container are also displayed in the modules menu as you have discovered.

Lee you are correct. There is a custom Admin container specified. I removed it and specified "not specified" and voila... the links are there now.
