Hi I am trying to embed Flash in my website but I can't make it work:

I tried the stuff on: http://www.dnncreative.com/Forum/ta...fault.aspx

and the Flash game tutorial but neither seems to work.

all I got was blank screen.

if you are having problems, there is now a free module available which allows you to easily embed Flash into DotNetNuke:
DigFlash

thanks, I tried that. But it gives the same result. Some animations that runs in actionscript just doesn't work.

if u go to the site now, the top flash is one in iframe and it works
and the second one is in Html module and the animation doesn't work.
It is just weird

the reason is that I don't want to use IFrame is that I heard it is not good with SEO

I'll second Lee's suggestion to use DigFlash.  I take it that you had problems with it?  What were they?

Now, I realized that the problem is that flash can't read xml after it is embed on the dnn site.

I still don't know how to fix it.

P.S. I got it now, it is the relative path such as "./xml/data.xml" that doesn't work. I have to use absolute path for the flash to load the file.

May be there is some way to use relative path for both local and remote? so I don't have to change it again and again when developing the animations.

Have you tried a URL that begins with /Portals?

okay, thanks. that works but I would have to put my flash file at the root folder when developing it locally. Anyways, it is alright for now.
