Hi all,

We want to give our users the ability to change their password to the site, but we do not want them changing their profile information.

I don't care if they can view the profile pages (i.e. manage user credentials, manage profile and manage service links), but I don't want them editing them. 

Does anyone know how this can be done?

We are running DNN 5.01.04.

You can set profile properties to be visible only to administrators.

I turned off most of the settings setting the following two fields to False in the user settings under Admin -> user accounts:

Display Manage Services:
Display Profile Visibility:

However, the Manage User Credentials section is still available when I log in as a test user.  This allows them to change their first, last and email...all of which I am trying to avoid.

Do you know how I can turn these off?

If not, do you have any other ideas?  For example, do you know a way to add just the password change functionality to a page or something?

I have not seen the registration tutorial, but I figured it would not apply since we are adding users via the API via an interface.  Users will not be filling out a registration page.
