***RESOLVED***
*** I discovered that this was due to an index.htm file that was redirecting to home.aspx. ***
Hello,
I have what I hope is a quick question. Currently, when you go to my domain, my home page is displayed as
http://mydomain.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">
http://mydomain.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">
http://mydomain.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">
http://mydomain.com/home.aspx. Even if you just type in
http://mydomain.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">
http://mydomain.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">
http://mydomain.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">
http://mydomain.com/ you are redirected to the home.aspx page.
I see other sites, DNN Creative, for example, where the home page is simply
http://mydomain.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">
http://mydomain.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">
http://mydomain.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">
http://mydomain.com/ - without the "home.aspx." In other words, you can enter
http://www.dnncreative.com/ and you will see the home page with its Google Page Rank. How is this done?
In case this helps, under Site Settings / Page Management my Home Page is set to "Home". Should this be changed to "Non Specified?"
Thanks!
