Hello, How can I set the time for a secission so that it never expires? We have an installation for which once you login you stay logged in as long as you don't logout. And this is very conviniet in the development time. Thanks

I believe that you need to change "persistent cookie timeout" in web.config. You cannot set it to stay set forever, but you can set it for a very long time. You'll also want to also make sure that the attribute for a sliding window is also set, so that this will be updated every time that the user returns to the site.

I'm working around a new module on DNN 7 to allow each user to set personalized timeout session. On code I'm try to use HttpContext.Current.Session.Timeout but it don't take effect with dotnetnuke session timeout! Any help about?

I've seen that session is no used by DNN 7 and the user timeout logoff is managed by PersistentCookieTimeout and forms auth cookie timeout that are application wide settings stored in web.config Then How can I get control on this?
